Local Officials
Francis J. Farmer, Mayor
Of the 25+ years
that he has resided in the Borough, Mr. Farmer has been a Councilman
approximately 19 years. During this period he served as Council's President and
Vice-President and also on a variety of Council's committees. Mr. Farmer has
more than 40 years experience in the mortgage and local banking markets. He is a
veteran of the United States Air Force.
Council Members
Maryann Barnes
A 33-year resident of
the Borough, Ms. Barnes has served the Borough as a Councilperson since 1982.
She was Vice-President of Council from 1991-1995, and served as Council
President from 1996 - 2005. A graduate of Cochran School of Nursing, Ms. Barnes has
been a professional nurse for 40 years. She has three children.
Donna Cianci
Mrs. Cianci has
lived in the Manor with her husband and two children for over 16 years and is
employed at the Neshaminy School District in the Transportation Department.
Mrs. Cianci was elected to Council in 2006.
Sharon Gimpel
Born, raised and a lifelong resident of the Langhorne Manor Borough Community
for over 50 years, Sharon Gimpel served as Langhorne Manor Borough's Tax
Collector from 1994 to 2000. Ms. Gimpel became a member of Council in 2004. With
over twenty-five years of experience in accounting/finance, Ms. Gimpel continues
working in those areas for a Real Estate Developer in Property and Warehousing
Management. Ms. Gimpel holds a BS in Accounting (La Salle Univ.), MBA in Finance
(Widener Univ.), CPA (retired) and is married with one child.
William R. McTigue, Jr.
Mr. McTigue
has lived in the Borough for 13 years. Except for a brief break of several
months, he has served on Council since 1992. He is President of Council.
Mr. McTigue earned a Bachelor's degree from Temple University and a Masters of
Business Administration from LaSalle University. He is a Human Resources
professional, and is married with two children.
Nicholas Pizzola
Mr. Pizzola has
lived in the Borough since 1987. Before joining Council for the first time in
2002, he served as Borough Auditor for six years. Mr. Pizzola holds the position
of Controller at a local copier company, and is married with five children.
John Steven (Steve) Yourtee
Mr.
Yourtee is a 14-year Borough resident. He joined Council in 2002. Mr. Yourtee
earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1983,
and has extensive professional experience in both residential and commercial
landscape design and installation.
